Embellished Warmth

It's been so freezing lately in Boston! I've been wearing sweaters for days, not that I mind. My favorite part about sweaters is you can layer to give each one a different look. With the one I wore above I added a collared shirt underneath to give the sweater more flair.  I love how the beading goes really well with the mocha color of the sweater. The past week has been very exciting for me I've mapped out my life at school and it just has opened up my eyes. I'm looking forward to everything in it future!

Hope you have a happy Tuesday!

Hello! This is my first official post on my new fashion blog, My Collective Style. I am extremely excited! I've always loved fashion and putting outfits together and I'm very happy to finally have somewhere to share my love of clothes, beauty, and many more things that inspire me!

Today was absolutely frigid in Boston. Although my glove less fingers were frozen on my way to class; the sun was shining so it made it all okay. I'd rather in be cold and sunny than be freezing and gloomy. It's just how I feel. Today definitely called for an over sized sweater. The one I'm wearing the the photo's above was perfect for today. It kept my body warm and the colors were bright and fun for the mood I was in. I paired it with my favorite winter beanie and my warm socks. I also just had to wear my newest red lipstick to play up the warm orangy-red tones throughout my outfit. It even matched my glasses. :)

Anyway thanks for checking out my blog! I hope everyone has a wonderful Tuesday!

Come back soon to read some of my future posts!
