A little bit of MAC

jeans: monki || boots: topshop || top: vero moda || necklace: h&m || makeup by MAC

So a little while ago my sister and I were invited to our local MAC Cosmetics store to have our makeup done using some of the new products from their holiday collection. It was a lot of fun, but I always feel awkward getting my makeup done. The new collection which came out in late October had some super lovely limited addition items. I didn't purchase anything from it, but my sister (Natalie) did! She got a lipstick called tribal. It's purple and magnificent. I wish I could have rocked purple lipstick when I was her age, I'll just have to borrow it for now ;). Hopefully in the future I will do some reviews on makeup collections, I always find them helpful before actually purchasing a product myself.  Anyway I apologize for the lack of posts...the semester is almost over and the pressure is on...

Have a happy Friday!

Stone Cold

skirt: ASOS || top: Forever21 || shoes: converse ||bag: ASOS || necklace: h&m || lipstick: Mac (color Sin)

I had been in search for this "maxi" skirt for almost a year. I've always wanted to wear one, but being petite I never found on that was the right length. The funny thing is the skirt I'm wearing is midi skirt from the tall section on the ASOS website. Oh well it still works for me! Anyway I love pairing it with a solid colored top like the one I'm wearing in the photos or a fun crop top either way it's very versatile and perfect for any season except winter...rumor has it it's going to be the coldest this winter in New England...yay! Time to prepare all the cozy sweaters.

Have a happy Tuesday!

Street Style Saturday: I

Saturday, October 18, 2014

I see a lot of street style posts and for my personal style I find that it gives me inspiration. So I thought it would be cool to incorporate street style on this blog. This is Victoria, she works at a boutique on Newbury Street called Lure. If you get a chance go check it out and meet her! Her kimono is actually from the store and I think she looks really chic.

Have a lovely Saturday!

xx Aline
